The “Česká pošta” application offers smartphone users a fast and comfortable access to these services:
Track&Trace, Find Post Office, Find Postcode, Change Instruction, Service Rating and Afternoon Delivery.
Track&Trace
The “Track&Trace” feature enables you to track one or more consignments based on posting number (reference code). You can enter the code manually, by using barcode reader, or by automatically uploading it from incoming SMS messages. You can also name or archive consignments to find them more easily. The application supports push notifications that inform you about changes in the tracked consignments’ statuses.
Find Post Office
Do you want to know the location of the nearest post office, what services are available there and what are its opening hours? The application will automatically display the nearest post offices including their distance in km. You can further filter the post offices by e.g. offered services or opening hours. You can view the location of a selected post office on a map or get navigated to it. Now you can also use the “Favourites” menu to save your favourite post offices.
Find Postcode
You can use the “Municipality or municipal district”, “Name or part of street” or “House number” parameters to search for a postcode. The displayed result will include detailed information about the post office such as available services or opening hours.
Change Instruction
The “Change Instruction” feature enables you to choose the right time for delivery of your consignment. For certain types of consignments, you can select e.g. afternoon delivery, next-day delivery, or depositing at another post office. This service is only available for Parcel Delivery To Hand or Parcel Delivery To Post Office consignments in limited time intervals.
Service Rating
The “Service Rating” feature enables you to assess how satisfied you are with Česká pošta’s services. The assessment always relates to the particular consignment, so you have to enter the consignment code into the text field. You can make your assessment as Recipient or Sender.
Afternoon Delivery
Česká pošta meets your needs and offers you late delivery until 7 p.m. in certain locations and even until 8 p.m. in Prague. You can use this feature to check whether your address belongs to those locations which offer late delivery.
